Jon Hall (Director)
Jon has been involved in the Health, Safety and Welfare industry for over 30 years. He has worked in a variety of environments, from Emergency Service, Local Authority training schemes to Industrial and Commercial training programmes. He has a passion for delivering quality training and assessing from Induction to Director level students, both in the UK and Abroad.
Tony Meade
Tony has delivered training in various capacities within military, emergency services and private business settings. Subjects he trains in include Fire Safety, Health and Safety, Moving and handling people and loads, and various other care industry-related subjects.
Donna Turner
Donna has worked in learning and development for over 20 years, teaching health and social care-related subjects and management courses. Prior to this her background was social work and managing services for people with learning disabilities and their families. Donna has been involved in safeguarding adults throughout her career and now teaches this for the Multi Agency Safeguarding Pool in Sheffield and as part of this delivers safeguarding training for all sectors.
Alistair Thompson
Alistair has worked as an Instructor and Trainer teaching First Aid, Fire Safety and Rope Rescue since his retirement from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue in 2016. His last 8 years in the Service were spent as an Instructor in the Training Centre, teaching all aspects of Fire Service skills. His specialisms are First Aid and Casualty Care and he has training in Pre-hospital Trauma.
Liam Cassidy
Liam spent 11 years in the RAF serving in Afghanistan and Iraq and was trained in battlefield trauma, before joining the Fire Service. He is now a Whole Time Firefighter, a role which involves caring for casualties and dealing with trauma on a daily basis. He specialises in trauma and basic life support.
Deborah Somerset
Deborah has worked in the fields of Education, Social Care, the Criminal Justice system and Learning and Development, for 35 years. Deborah is a qualified Nursery Nurse, Mentor and Adult Learning Tutor. Her experience includes working in a Youth Offending Team, Secure Children's Unit, schools, residential units, Behaviour Support Service and also as a Safeguarding Children Training Co-ordinator. As a volunteer trainer, Deborah also delivers sessions for Sheffield Safeguarding Adult Board.
Kirsty Slack
Kirsty is a National Trainer and Psychotherapist bringing many year’s experience from working in different roles within the NHS and Mental Health Charitable organisations. Kirsty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in different areas to the training team, working as a National Trainer and Psychotherapist in Private Practice, as well as working as a Vaccinator in the pandemic, and as a Volunteer Clinical Supervisor for a large charity, supporting volunteers who are supporting people face to face and online.
Angie Thorp
Angie has been delivering First Aid Training for over 15 years. Angie is currently a Rope Rescue & Working & Height instructor for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue where she has worked for the last 22 years.
